Spinach Salad For The Ultimate Brain Boost

Spinach:  Loaded with Vitamin K that helps create new neural pathways in the brain making you physically able to learn better.

Salmon: Salmon is high in fats, and I’m talking the good kind! These are chocked full of Omega-3 Fatty Acids which helps our brain pave those new neural pathways for better brain performance!

Walnuts: These contain Tryptophan which improves your working memory (VERY important when trying to recall all the facts for the test!)

Blueberries:  Once hailed as a “superfood”, and for quite a few good reasons.  Besides as a major anti-oxidant, their ability to lower the risk of dementia, reduce the risk of alzheimers and improve concentration makes this berry, berry good for the brain haha. They also have been show to boost numerical computation.

Broccoli: The ultimate “medicine” for the brain.  It’s best purpose is it’s ability repair and replenish the brain and speed up the healing process

Sage helps the brain make connections between two things and also will help you connect the two hemispheres of the brain.

Apples: are loaded with a chemical called acetylcholine which enhances your sensory perception.  I found it interesting that a study of students who ate an apple prior to a test score 7 points higher.  An apple a day ….. 😉
